About Us:

Joshua Potteiger, owner / operator:

Potteiger Farms was founded by Joshua Potteiger in 2012.  Josh attended Delaware Valley College (now university) and majored in ornamental horticultural design with a minor in soils.  He has mown lawns and done the "grunt work" of landscaping since his teenage years.  Before starting his own business he worked for several nurseries in the Philadelphia area as a landscape, crew, and digging manager as well as being a nursery manager and a buyer.  In these positions he learned the various in's and out's of landscaping, lawn care, tree care and nursery management.  His experience in remodeling begins with an old house in need of many, many repairs. 

Kristin Potteiger, business manager:

Though Kristin has played a behind-the-scenes roll since 2012, she recently came into the family business full-time.  Prior to working at Potteiger Farms she worked for 16 years in the public school system as a 7th grade American history teacher.  Though not her original career path, her love of flowers and eye for design began as a young girl in her grandparents' floral shop.   She is grateful that an interest and passion for gardening has turned into a new way of life.  She surprisingly enjoys the hard labor and (tree) farm life
